Cecil B. Demented

Cecil B. Demented is a film directed by John Waters. It revolves around the fictional Honey Whitlock (Melanie Griffith), whose public persona is that of a sweet and cosiderate woman, but who in reality is demanding and mean. Whitlock is kidnapped by the manic title character (Stephen Dorff) and his band of misfit artists who have branded themselves "kamikaze filmmakers." They run around filming movie scenes at real (unapproved) locations, often involving innocent bystanders in the process. They force Honey to star in their new project. The film was a critical and commercial disaster; most reviews commented that the casting was suspect and contributed to the picture's demise.
