Castle Bromwich

Castle Bromwich is a suburb of Solihull, in the English West Midlands. Currently best known for its Jaguar car factory, during World War II, there was a large airfield and adjoining factory which made Spitfires, Hurricanes and Lancaster bombers. This former factory/airfield site is now home to a housing estate known as Castle Vale It is also home to Castle Bromwich Hall, the previous residence of the Earl of Bradford for many years. Adjoining Castle Bromwich Hall are the Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens, a popular tourist attraction for many years and a source of pride for the residents of Castle Bromwich.
