Cartesian Fallacy

The term Cartesian Fallacy is used by those who disagree with it to describe the view of philosopher Ren Descartes with regard to the human mind and body. Descartes considered that the human mind is an independent, objective thing, separate from the body (separation of the psyche and the body).
