Carny

A carny is a member of a traveling circus, carnival, or other such venue. Carnies are typified as sly or underhanded but coercive salespeople that know how to entice the carnival-goer into paying money to play carnival games that are dfficult to win. They are the people working the ring toss with undersized rings that barely fit the bottles, or the dart game where the player tosses dull tipped darts at underinflated baloons for prizes.
