Carling

Carling (sometimes called "Carling Black Label") is a brand of beer, brewed by several different companies throughout the world. Carling lager is the best selling beer in the United Kingdom. Carling also brews a stronger lager called "Carling Premier", for more information see Carling Premier.

Sponsorship

From 1993 to 2001 Carling was the sponsor of the FA Premier League, one of the top sporting leagues in the world. Carling is also known for sponsoring the Carling weekend music festivals which takes place at the end of August each year over two venues- Leeds and Reading. Carling also brews Black Label.

Brands

Carling brands were originally brewed by Carling Breweries of London, Upper Canada, founded in 1840 by Thomas Carling. Ownership of the brands now differs from country to country. In Canada it is brewed by Molson, in the United Kingdom by Coors, and in South Africa by SABMiller.
