Caramac

Caramac is the brand name for a caramel flavoured bar manufactured by Nestl. Coloured pale yellow, the bar is thin due to its sweet taste and is divided into sections. The unique flavour is maintained using sweetened condensed milk, butter and various artificial flavourings, as well as sugar. It is packaged in a red and yellow wrapper. Nestl have confirmed that Caramacs are suitable for people giving up chocolate for Lent, as they are not considered chocolate. A similar confection is used in the covering of McVitie's Gold biscuit bar.
