, was the first
emperor
and the real founder of the
Kingdom of Wei
(see
Three Kingdoms
). After assuming control of the Wei throne he attacked the
Shu
and
Wu
kingdoms with little results then focused on
politics
. Cao Pi, like his father, was a
poet
. The first
Chinese poem
using seven syllables per line (七言詩) was the poem
燕歌行
by Cao Pi. He was most well-known for the conflict with his brother. See the article for
