Cao Ang

Cao Ang (pronounced Tsao Ang) (175-197) was the first son of the leader Cao Cao. When Cao Cao was invited to Wan Castle by Zhang Xiu, Cao Cao made a secret plot to murder Zhang Xiu. The secret plot was revealed and Zhang Xiu surprise-attacked Cao Cao and his force at the castle. Cao Ang was in that battle, along with Dian Wei, another warrior who fell in the battle. During the battle, Cao Cao's horse had fallen and Cao Ang turned to his father and gave him his horse, and then continued fought on foot. Because of this deed, Cao Cao escaped. However, Cao Ang did not. Cao Ang died fighting in Wan Castle in 197 AD.
