Canadair

Canadair was created in 1944 by the government of Canada and remained a federal crown corporation until 1986 when it was sold to Bombardier Aerospace as part of the privatization plan of the Mulroney government. As part of Bombardier, Canadair lives on in the series of business jets or regional jets known as 'RJ Series'.
