Cameroon Airlines

Cameroon Airlines is the national airline of Cameroon and is based in Douala. It was established in July 1971 and partly owned by the Cameroon Government (70%) and Air France (30%). Prior to its formation Cameroon's air services were flown by Air Afrique. Flights began with two Boeing 737-200 jets between Douala and Yaounde in November 1971. A service was started to Rome and Paris using an ex-Air France Boeing 707, replaced by a Boeing 747-200 in 1982.
