Caloocan City

Caloocan City (in Filipino Kalookan) is one of the cities and municipalities that comprise Metro Manila in the Philippines. Located just north and adjacent to Manila, Caloocan is the third largest city in the country with a population of approximately 1,200,000.

Geographically, the city is divided into two separate areas. Southern Caloocan City lies directly north of Manila and is bounded by Malabon City and Valenzuela City to the north, Navotas to the west, and Quezon City to the east. Northern Caloocan City is the northermost territory of Metro Manila and lies to the east of Valenzuela, north of Quezon City, and south of San Jose del Monte City in the province of Bulacan.
