Calgary International Film Festival

The Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) is a film festival held annually in Calgary, Canada for ten days in late September and early October. The film festival is a relatively new addition to Calgary's cultural scene and the first one was held in 2000. Since that time, it has grown to become one of the most important in Canada. Attendance is usually around 40,000. The film festival shows works from around the world, and generally screens films in a wide variety of genres.
