Brunswick Centre

The Brunswick Centre is a grade II listed residential and shopping centre in Bloomsbury, Camden, London. It is located between Brunswick Square and Russell Square. It was designed by Patrick Hodgkinson in the mid 1960s. Building started in 1967 and it was completed in 1972. It contains 560 flats, numerous shops, a supermarket and the Renoir Cinema. It achieved Grade II status in 2000. Much of the building appears derelict, with many of its shop premises unoccupied. A much-needed 22 million renovation to the centre has been underway since November 2004).
