Brad LevicoffSee the talk page. Brad 'Zophar' Levicoff is the founder of Zophar's Domain, a website based on computer system emulation, founded on November 9th, 1996. Levicoff began experimenting with electronic music, sampling and sound mixing. He also taught himself how to get top quality sound results out of everyday personal computers. Levicoff eventually used this knowledge to create a website dedicated towards video gaming, and computer emulation in general. After creating Zophar's Domain (or ZD, as it's commonly referred to in the community), the website reaped in the benefits of a growing community. ZD faced two well-known hacking attempts--once while in it's earlier CGI based days, and another based primarily on the forums, by a moderator named 'InVerse'. Both times, the site was recovered, as can be seen by the fact taht the site still lives today. Somewhere between this time and 2002, ZD had a bitter feud with other emulation sites in the community, including one named EMU-LMAO (Emulation, Laughing My Ass Off). This site, in particualar, was made to make fun of other emulation websites for various reasons. Soon, however, the site seemingly disappeared off the map, never to be seen again. Levicoff passed ownership of ZD to Sam Michaels, a DJ and web programmer. Michaels is still the owner and administrator of Zophar's Domain to this day. Levicoff used his knowledge of electronic music and sound effects to add the blood curdling sound effects and other sound programming for 'Circle of Freaks' (2004). Combined with David Vasquez? chilling score, the film took on an even eerier tone with the new sound effects. Levicoff also takes on the role of a few voices in the film. Levicoff recently took up drumming for local bands, covering a variety of influences from punk to metal. His current project, Unholy Alliance, includes his brother Greg and is an alternative rock band.
