Borough Hill

Borough Hill is a hill to the east of the town of Daventry in the English county of Northamptonshire. It is 200m above sea level and dominates the surrounding area. Remains have been found on the hill of an Iron Age hillfort, and of a later Roman villa and farming settlement. From 1925 until March 28, 1992 the BBC World Service had short-wave radio transmitters there. Today only one mast remains. The area is now open grassland allowing free public access.
