Bolyeria
The
Bolyeriidae
(
Round Island boas
) is a
family
of
snakes
, classified in the
Henophidia
superfamily
. It consists of only two species,
Casarea dussumieri
and
Bolyeria multocarinata
. Formerly part of the
Boidae
, the Bolyeriidae is now considered a separate family. Both species are endemic on
Round Island
off the island of
Mauritius

Indian Ocean
, but
Bolyeria multocarinata
hasn't been seen since
1975
, so the species is believed to be extinct.
