Bo Pi

Bo Pi was a bureaucrat in the state of Wu in the Spring and Autumn Period. Although his grandparent was lord in the state of Chu, he served in the state of Wu and was a favorite advisor in the palace. After the victory against the state of Yue, Bo Pi was corrupted by his enemy. As a result, King Fu Chai of Wu made peace with the state of Yue. It was also his suggestion that Wu Zixu, an outstanding politician in Wu, be executed. After his state was annexed by Yue, he surrendered to his enemy.
