Birdland

In jazz, Birdland may refer to: The term birdland comes from Bird the nickname of great jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker. Jazz pianist George Shearing wrote a song called "Lullaby of Birdland". Birdland was the name of a successful Indie band from Birmingham England in the late 1980's.
