Big Fat LiarBig Fat Liar is a 2002 film directed by Shawn Levy, about how a boy, Jason Shepherd, tries to worm a confession out of a Hollywood producer, Marty Wolf, who has stolen his English paper to turn into a movie. Eventually, he takes advantage of how the producer is universally hated, and turns his co-workers against him. The two main characters' last names seem to be taken from Aesop's fable involving the boy who cried "wolf." This is because the boy was a shepherd, who wasn't believed when the real wolf came along to eat the sheep, just as Jason, a persistent liar, wasn't believed when he said the Wolf stole his English paper.
