Bell System Technical Journal

Bell System Technical Journal was the in-house journal of Bell Laboratories. It is most famous for Claude Shannon's paper A mathematical theory of communication which founded the field of information theory. The journal has since been through several name changes including, AT & T Bell Laboratories Technical Journal and AT & T Technical Journal. It is currently known as Bell Labs Technical Journal.
