Belinda Thorpe

Belinda Thorpe was a contestant on the third series of Australian Big Brother, the television series. She left the house voluntarily soon after an incident where, during one of the late-night live shows, she revealed that a member of her family had been convicted of a serious crime. Because the program went to air live, the name of this person (who was a minor at the time the crime occurred) was revealed to the public. As a result of this incident, which was against Australia's privacy laws, all subsequent episodes of Big Brother were pre-recorded and edited before being shown. Thorpe, Belinda
