Beer (Lunar Crater) - This article is about the 'Beer crater' on the Moon. For other craters with the name, see Beer (crater).
Beer is a lunar impact crater located on the Mare Imbrium, to the east of Timocharis crater. Just to the northwest is the matching twin Feuillée crater. Beer is a circular, bowl-shaped crater with a sharp-edged rim. A string of craterlets arc away from the rim to the southwest. The maria to the east has a higher albedo than the surrounding surface, and this lighter-hued surface reaches to the base of the Montes Archimedes. Satellite craters By convention these features are identified on Lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Beer crater. | idth="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Latitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Longitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Diameter | | lign="center"|A | align="center"|27.2° N | align="center"|8.6° W | align="center"|4 km | | lign="center"|B | align="center"|25.7° N | align="center"|9.0° W | align="center"|2 km | | lign="center"|E | align="center"|27.8° N | align="center"|7.8° W | align="center"|3 km |
