Bayswater, Victoria

Bayswater is an industrial suburb of Melbourne, Australia, in the state of Victoria. It is in the Local Government Area of the City of Knox. Its schools include Bayswater Primary School, Bayswater South Primary School, Bayswater West Primary School and Bayswater Secondary College. Its reserves include Lewis Reserve, where football is played and there are lots of walks and also a playground. Bayswater also has a shopping centre, which has recently been refurbished. Its name is Bayswater Village. There are also many restaurants and bargain basin shops. Also Bayswater is the headquarters of the Knox Opportunity Shop, which was run by councillors and others. Bayswater Station is near Mountain Highway, and is 26 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD.
