Battle Of Sisak

The Battle of Sisak in 1593 was an important victory for Christian forces over the Turkish army. Hassan Pasha led the Slovenian states of Carniola, Carinthia, and Styria in a decisive plan to deflect the Turkish forces. This battle restored the balance of power and brought the expansion of the Turkish Empire into the Slovene territory to a halt.
