The Battle of Corrin was a climactic fictional battle of the Butlerian Jihad, ending in human victory. The battle was led by an Atreides and a Harkonnen. During the battle, the Atreides revealed a Harkonnen act of cowardice and this is where the rift between the Houses Atreides and Harkonnen came from. House Corrino takes their name from this battle: the founder of the house led the victory, then renamed his family in honor of it. Corrin
