Batcave

In fiction, the Batcave is the personal headquarters of DC Comics superhero Batman, situated underneath his residence, Wayne Manor. It contains his crime lab, computer system and files, personal gymnasium, parking, docking and hangar space (as appropriate) for his various vehicles as well as separate exits for the various types, trophies of past cases, and a large bat colony. Three trophies often seen in the background during Batcave scenes are a defunct mechanical tyrannosaurus and an equally giant penny and Joker playing card. It has never been adequately explained how these were transported into the cave. When he lived in the penthouse of the Wayne Foundation building, Batman had a secret basement there equipped as a Batcave as well.
In London, England, The Batcave was an early goth nightclub in London, England. As one of the most famous meeting points for early goths, it lent its name to the term Batcaver, used to describe old school goths. The club opened in July 1982. Originally specialising in New Wave and Glam rock, it later focused on Gothic music. There were mainly three bands performing there, namely Alien Sex Fiend, Sex Gang Children and Specimen. Their style was later betitled as Batcave.
In 2004, volunteers in North Louisiana built a batcave (an artificial bat habitat). http://www.lsus.edu/lsusnews/articles/2004_3_autumn/01batcave.asp http://www.aepcustomer.com/home/consumerTips/consumercircuit/english/2005/jan05.htm
