Bally's Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located in Las Vegas, Nevada on the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel has 2,814 rooms that are 450 square feet or larger. The hotel has over 175,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space. It also has a 67,000 square foot casino. Bally's is host to the long running production show Jubilee!. One of the signature features of this hotel is the neon wrapped around the covered moving sidewalk that brings guests from Las Vegas Boulvard to the entrance of the casino. The hotel is a stop on the Las Vegas Monorail.

History

The property first opened in 1973 as the MGM Grand. The hotel was sold and the name changed after a major fire at the MGM Grand. More information is available about the fire.
