The rockgroup BAP was founded in 1976 in Cologne, Germany by Wolfgang Niedecken and Hans Heres. In 1981 they issued their most famous song Verdamp lang her (Damned Long Ago). Nearly all of BAP's lyrics are written in the German dialect Klsch.
