Awa District, Chiba

Awa (安房郡; -gun) is a district located in Chiba, Japan. As of 2003 data but counting the decrease due to Amatsukominato merging into Kamogawa, the district has an estimated population of 55,589 and a density of 202 persons per km². The total area is 275.38 km².
