austin music scene

Austin's music scene centers around 6th Street, where bars and clubs of every kind can be found. On any night over 100 venues are available, justifying Austin's nickname as the "Live Music Capital of the Country." Austin is the home of South by Southwest, an annual film and music festival, as well as the popular PBS live music show Austin City Limits. In the fall, Austin hosts the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
