Asian Aerospace

Asian Aerospace is an international trade fair for the aerospace business. Held at the Changi Exhibition Centre near the Singapore Changi Airport, it is the biggest airshow event in Asia, and was touted by its organisers as the "worlds second most influential airshow" http://www.asianaerospace.com/pr_latest.asp?latest_pr_id=39. Held once every two years, the next show is scheduled to be held on the 21 February to 24 February 2006. Jointly organised by Reed Exhibitions and Singapore Technologies Engineering Group (ST Engineering), it saw 759 exhibiting companies from 37 countries taking part in the 2004 event. A total of 26,814 trade visitors from 81 countries were recorded, and trade deals amounting to USD3.52 billion were concluded during the show. In addition to static and aerial displays, which are also open to the public, several conferences were held concurrently with the show, including the Asia Pacific Security Conference (APSEC), the C4I Asia Conference (C4i Asia), the Asian Aerospace UAV Asia-Pacific Conference and the IATA/Asian Aerospace Aviation Summit.
