Arthur Levitt

This article is not about William Levitt.
Arthur Levitt Jr. (1931-) was chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission 1993-2001. His father, Arthur Levitt Sr. (June 28, 1900-May 1980), served as Comptroller of the State of New York for six terms, from 1955 to 1979.
