Arlington Cemetery (Washington Metro)

Arlington Cemetery is a Washington Metro station in Arlington, Virginia on the Blue Line. The station is located in the center of Arlington Cemetery, near Memorial Drive. This is possibly the only station which has no real purpose for commuters, as its only real use is to visit the cemetery and the various monuments and memorials there. It is also the only station that closes earlier than the rest of the system. Service began on July 1, 1977.
