Aparri, Cagayan

Aparri is a municipality of the province of Cagayan in the Philippines. Aparri sits at the mouth of the Cagayan River, the longest in the country. Aparri was a Japanese trading post established on the northern tip of Luzon, in the Philippines, sometime after 1400. From Aparri, the Japanese maintained a loose control over the northern half of Luzon.
