anne hathaway (shakespeare's wife)

Anne Hathaway (1556-1623) was the wife of William Shakespeare. Little is known about her. They married in November of 1582 while Hathaway was pregnant with Shakespeare's child. At 26 when they married, she was eight years Shakespeare's senior. For most of their married life, Shakespeare traveled the country, writing and producing his plays and other works while Hathaway stayed in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, England. This poem is attributed to Shakespeare:
