Anne Campbell

Anne Campbell (born April 6, 1940) is an English politician. She is the Labour member of Parliament for Cambridge. Campbell has been MP for the city since 1992, and claims to be the first Labour MP to have had a website. In 2003 she resigned as Patricia Hewitt's PPS to vote against the Iraq War. Before she became an MP she was a councillor on Cambridgeshire County Council, and head of statistics and data processing at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. She was educated at Newnham College, Cambridge, reading mathematics.
