Amounderness

Amounderness (Andernes in ancient times) is an area of England. In its most recent incarnation it was a hundred of Lancashire. Previously the name had been used for territories now in Lancashire and north of the River Ribble, that had been included in the Domesday Book's Yorkshire section. The hundred of Amounderness included Bisham, Blackpool, Broughton, Chipping, Cockerham, Garstang, Kirkham, Lancaster, Mitton, Poulton-le-Fylde, Preston, and Ribchester.
