Amersham Station

Amersham station is a London Underground station in Travelcard Zone D on the Metropolitan line. It is the terminus of its branch of the line, and is not actually in Greater London; rather, it is in the county of Buckinghamshire. It is approximately 25 miles from the centre of London. Amersham Station is served also by Chiltern Railways, which runs trains from London Marylebone station through to Aylesbury. From Aylesbury a shuttle service to Princes Risborough provides access to through services between Marylebone and Birmingham Snow Hill. The journey to Central London is 45-60 minutes. Amersham was opened 1 September 1892. It is located on Station Approach, Amersham.
