American Overseas Airways

American Overseas Airways was an airline that flew between the U.S. and Europe. AOA operated round-trip Douglas DC-4 flights from Boston, Massachusetts to London via Gander and Foynes. It was founded in 1946 as a subsidiary of American Airlines. Pan American World Airways purchased it in 1948.
