American Nurses' Association

The American Nurses' Association's purpose is to advance and protect the profession of nursing. They are involved in public education, clinical nursing standards, and lobbying state and federal lawmakers to advance the profession. They are a professional organization that addresses ethics, public policy, and the economic and general welfare of nurses. They publish The American Nurse and Capitol Update. They are also responsible for creating the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
