Amblve (River)

Amblve (-French, in German:Amel) is a river in eastern Belgium (province of Lige), tributary to the river Ourthe. Its source is in the Hautes Fagnes, close to the border with Germany near Bllingen. Tributaries of the Amblve are the rivers Warche and Salm. The Amblve flows through the towns Amel, Stavelot, Trois-Ponts, Remouchamps and Aywaille. At Coo, near Trois-Ponts, there is a well-known waterfall. The Amblve joins the river Ourthe in Comblain-au-Pont.
