Alpine Visitor's CenterThe Alpine Visitor's Center is located at around 14,000 feet above sea level, a few miles past the highest point on Trail Ridge Road. The Alpine Visitor's Center includes much needed restrooms, a restaurant and a information and gift shop. More often than not there is some snow to play with - last June there was 20 feet of snow boardering the parking lot of the visitor's center. Also, when driving up, bring a warm jacket because the high altitude and the constant moisture causes pretty consistant snow flurries.
