alpha-plus

Alpha Plus is the highest level of caste in Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley. The utopian, civilized world is divided up into different castes with Alpha Plus citizens at the top of the hierachy and Epsilon Minus Semi-Morons at the bottom. The alpha plus characters in the novel include Bernard Marx, Helmholtz Watson, Lenina Crowne and Henry Foster. Their function within society is to carry out the highest priorities of society, running large industries and institutions such as the Bureau of Propaganda.
