Alejandro Sanz

Alejandro Sanz, born Alejandro Snchez Pizarro on December 18 1968 in Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish pop/ballad musician. The second son of Mara Pizarro Medina from Alcal de los Gazules, and Jess Snchez Madero from Algeciras, Sanz began playing guitar at the age of seven and composing his first songs three years later. After moving to Moratalaz at age 16, he began attenting management classes, and the young musician started attending management classes after moving from the neighborhood of Pueblo Nuevo to Moratalza. At the same time, he recorded his first album In 1991, Sanz released his official major label debut, Viviendo Deprisa, with Warner Brothers. He released Si Tu Me Miras in 1993, with contributions from Nacho Mao, Chris Cameron, and Paco de Luca. He recorded 3 in Venice, Italy. His next albums, Ms (1997), and El Alma Al Aire (2000) were top-selling internationally, with both albums breaking into the Billboard Hot 200 in the United States. His 2003 album No Es Lo Mismo won a 2004 Grammy Award for best Latin pop album. He's got the bull head from Pablo Picasso's Guernica tattooed on his left arm. Sanz, Alejandro
