Albert Of Sweden

Albert of Mecklenburg or Albrekt av Mecklenburg (appr. 13361412), King of Sweden in 1364, Duke of Mecklenburg in 1383, son of Duke Albert II of Mecklenburg and Eufemia Eriksdotter, the sister to Magnus III of Sweden. His reign in Sweden spanned from 1363 to 1389. He was deposed by Margaret, daughter of Valdemar IV Denmark, Queen Dowager of Norway, widow of Hakon VI and daughter in law of Magnus III of Sweden and VII of Norway, who became Regent of all three Kingdoms.
