Alaska Marine Highway System

The Alaska Marine Highway System is the state-run Alaskan ferry system that has been operating year-round since 1963. It incorporates ten vessels and over thirty main ports. The system includes ports from as far south as Bellingham, Washington, as far north as Valdez, Alaska, to as far west as King Cove, Alaska.
