Airtrain (Sfo)

AirTrain SFO is a fully automated people mover at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The system was built by Bombardier at a cost of $430 million US and opened February 24, 2003.

Routes

AirTrain SFO operates on two lines:
  • the Red Line, which connects all terminals, garages and the BART Station:
  • the Blue Line, which connects all terminals, garages and the BART Station with the rental car center.

  • Terminal 1
  • Terminal 2
  • Terminal 3
  • International Terminal G
  • Garage G/BART
  • West Field Road
  • Rental Car Centre

Roster

The AirTrain fleet comprises of 38 cars built by Bombardier of Montreal, Canada.
  • Bombardier CX-100 System
The same system is used at Tampa and Denver International Airports.
