Air Sahara

Air Sahara is an airline in India. It was formerly known as Sahara Airlines. It is part of the major Sahara India Pariwar business conglomerate and began operations on 3 December 1993 with two Boeing 737-200. The Boeing fleet increased and the airline also started to operate Canadair CRJ-200 aircraft in February 2003. The concentration was on domestic destinations and on 22 March 2004 it became an international carrier with the start of flights from Chennai to Colombo.
