Abu Iyad

Abu Iyad (? - January 14, 1991) was Palestine Liberation Organization deputy chief and intelligence chief, and at the time of his death was considered the second most senior official of Fatah after Yassir Arafat. He and Abu Hul were assassinated in 1991 by an Abu Nidal operative, in Tunis.
