2001 Einstein

Asteroid 2001 is an asteroid discovered on March 5, 1973. It is named in honor of the physicist Albert Einstein. Arthur C. Clarke joked in the postscript of his novel that he was hoping asteroid 2001 would be named after him, and was slightly miffed that Einstein got there first. Einstein
